Formatting Quotations

One of the formatting that is lost when coping from Word to the web is quotations. Here is how you can add quotations.

In this example the following text appears like this:

They are not written by those to whom they were ascribed … many faulty elements have been introduced into them, and  …  it requires infinite discretion to look for gold in the midst of dirt.

Jerome, Letter to Laeta

But it should appear like this:

They are not written by those to whom they were ascribed … many faulty elements have been introduced into them, and  …  it requires infinite discretion to look for gold in the midst of dirt.

Jerome, Letter to Laeta

To make this change go to the text in WordPress.

Select the text and click the “Blockquote” icon.

Lastly click update.

It should now appear correctly.

  • Our goal is to give every pastor and Bible student a free seminary-level education on the life and times of Jesus. Any fees for this eBook considered reasonable by Western standards would likely be a burden for many pastors and teaching missionaries around the world, so we endeavor to provide the content on our website free of charge for anyone that may benefit from it. For those called to support such efforts, even the smallest gift can help us. Thank you & God bless you!
