03.06.20 A.D. 14 – 37 Tiberius Caesar of the Roman Empire
Emperor Augustus died and was succeeded by Tiberius[1] who had a successful military and political career, but would be challenged by a deceptive Sejanus. As will be explained later, it was because of Sejanus that the term “friend of Caesar” became powerfully important when Jesus stood before Pilate.[2]
